Surf spots in Capbreton
Complete guide to the beaches and surf spots of Capbreton, from the Plage des Océanides to the VVF.
Capbreton is a unique surf spot on the Landes coast thanks to the Gouf de Capbreton, an underwater canyon 3,000 metres deep that modifies how the swell propagates. The result: more accessible waves than in Hossegor or Seignosse, perfect for learning and progressing.
The town has several surf spots spread across nearly 3 km of beach, each with its own characteristics. Check our guide on waves in Capbreton by season to choose the right time, and discover below the best spot for your level.
